King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)

Sometimes Hollywood just doesn’t learn from their mistakes. We thought they would learn before to stop making King Arthur movie films, but that clearly did not happen. In 2017 they filmed an alternative version with King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, but this did not win over any audience. After losing $175 million, they decided to give up this six-film series.

The Lone Ranger (2013)

When Disney does something, it goes all out and that is exactly what they intended to do with the film The Lone Ranger. While they were anticipating a success like the Pirates of the Caribbean films, they were far off. Disney invested around $225-$250 million but barely broke even. In turn, they lost around $160 million.
