In recent interviews, Angelina hasn’t been afraid to be open and honest about the divorce. 2017 she claimed, “[I] think it’s very important to cry in the shower and not in front of the children. They need to know that everything’s going to be all right even when you’re not sure it is.” Although Jolie is aware that it will be difficult for her children as well, she is determined to make the adjustment as easy as she can for them, even if it means suppressing her own grief.

Despite initial speculation that Angelina’s sole custody of the kids would prevent Pitt from seeing Shiloh, it turns out that both parents will continue to play significant roles in the kids’ lives. Shiloh can still be Brad’s little girl if he provides for his offspring appropriately, of course. Shiloh’s parents have also encouraged her to follow in her father’s footsteps because she is increasingly taking after him.
