It appeared that things were about to get out of hand when Angelina started filming for a new role in Maleficent 2. While Brad was in Los Angeles filming his own movie, she would be working in London. Without consulting Brad, Angelina made the decision to take the kids to London, further separating them from him. Whether the kids liked it or not, shots were fired, and Brad was now prepared to start retaliating and pleading for more honest communication.

Keeping children apart from one parent or the other during a divorce is almost never beneficial. One judge at last saw that, despite her best efforts to act in the interests of her kids, Angelina had actually made matters worse by separating them from Brad. Finally, he issued an injunction requiring Angelina to permit Brad regular access to them as well as unrestricted communication. However, the separation was having an impact.
