She had an ironclad resolve to see the task through to the end, and she was able to succeed because to the amazing support she received from everyone around her. She came very close to giving up, which would have been a terrible decision given how close she was getting to the end of the race. When she crossed the finish line, her companions leaped with delight, shouted their congratulations, and bounced up and down.

She finished the race in a total time of 2 hours 47 minutes, which meant that she was one of the 46 individuals who were awarded the Expert Field Medical Badge on that particular day. Even more incredible is the fact that she was one of only 14 women who finished the march in less than three hours on that particular day.
