Michael Ironside As Jean Rasczak
In the movie, Michael Ironside plays Jean Rasczak. We have already talked a little about this soldier early on. He is a sharp professor who teaches philosophy and has an amputated right arm. When the bugs attack the Earth, he is quick to take on the commander role. He is a very capable soldier and one of the bravest characters in the film. He eventually asks Rico to give him a swift death once he falls into the sand hole. Even though he is not happy about it, Rico agrees to grant him his last wish.
