She gives John a ring the following day to inquire about his size. John is delighted to speak with his mother. In the background, Tracy may be heard. She begins to ask him a question about the clothes as well, but Tracy interrupts her by asking who he is speaking to: ‘’Dear, I was yesterday at your house and….’’

Jane does not provide an answer to her own question and instead allows for a brief period of silence. After that, she overhears someone grabbing John’s phone and hanging up while he was talking on it. We can all guess who it was! Jane is in awe.
