As you would expect, the discussions surrounding her focused on whether Julia was too weird to be a teacher and whether her conduct hurt the students. Some parents even approached the principal, requesting a meeting. So was Julia going to be fired every day because she wore the same dress? Of course, but she didn’t even violate any regulations.

Julia also showed up from time to time sporting a variety of shoes and scarves. She also had a plethora of sweaters and other things for her art class, like aprons.
