Kevin and Nicole’s story doesn’t end there. When the twins arrived, the couple wanted to share their journey of surrogacy to the whole world. They are advocating to have surrogacy legalized in New York. The couple is working with legislators and reproductive specialists to learn how the situation could be better. Kevin said, “We are happy that our story went public to help others in the time of need.” It’s amazing how open and sincere they were about their journey.

Kevin and Nicole would always remember the generosity the Lianna had shown them. If it wasn’t for Lianna, it would be almost impossible for their dream of a family to come to life. Nicole hopes for women in a similar situation to realize that the trouble of finding their surrogate or asking for help are all worth it in the end. “There are people out there, like Lianna, that will do it out of kindness. It’s easier to find them than it seems. It’s never the end of the road,” Nicole said. The couple is continuing to fight for surrogacy to be legalized.
