Sage Steele – $1.5 Million
Sage Steele was destined for a career in athletics. Gary Steele, her father, was West Point’s first African-American varsity football player. She has two brothers who work in the sporting industry as well. It’s no surprise that she went to Indiana University Bloomington to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Sports Communication. Steele is the host of Sports Center on the Road, which has given her the opportunity to attend several well-known sporting activities, including the Masters and the Super Bowl. On both ESPN and ABC, Steele has hosted the NBA countdown. She has covered the NBA Finals in the daytime for SportsCenter in 2012 and 2013. Stage Steele is also the co-host of ESPN’s SportsCenter.
Sam Champion – $12 Million
Sam Champion started his meteorology career at WPSD-TV in Kentucky, then moved on to WJKS in Florida. Champion rose through the ranks at WABC-Eyewitness TV’s News to become a weather forecaster in 1988. In 2004, he continued to further his career by joining Good Morning America, where he earned $1.5 million per year! On CNN, he continued to star on shows such as ‘Live with Jelly and Ryan’ and ‘Larry King Live.’ Champion aired an instructional show called “Sea Rescue” in 2008. The topic of this educational show was animal rescue and recovery.
