Ginger Zee – $1 Million
Ginger Zee was a Valparaiso University student. She majored in Mathematics and Spanish and graduated with a degree in meteorology. Her ambition was to work as a meteorologist on The Today Show by the age of 30, and she was effective in achieving that goal and much more! Zee consulted for a variety of television sources before realizing her goal. She first worked as a guest meteorologist on The Today Show’s weekend version.

Cari Champion is well-known for her tennis reporting. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a specialization in Mass Communications from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She began her career as a writer by writing for the ‘Daily Bruin’ while still a student. She then moved to Virginia after landing her first job as a reporter. She then left Virginia to pursue a career as a human-interest reporter in Florida. Cari developed a love for tennis after spending time in Florida. Since covering Serena and Venus Williams, she developed a love for them. She later worked as an anchor for ESPN’s Sports Center.
