Anne Curry began her career as an intern. She worked at KTVL in Oregon, an NBC affiliate, where she rose through the ranks to become the station’s first female reporter. She relocated to Las Angeles after working at another NBC affiliate station. She was hired as a reporter for KCBS-TV, and her performance won her two Emmy Awards. From 2005 to 2011, Curry was the host of Dateline NBC. Curry started working as a co-anchor for ‘Today’ in 2011, after working as a news anchor since 1997.
