George Stephanopoulos – $50 Million

This well-known anchor did not begin his career as a journalist. George Stephanopoulos’ father wanted him to be a lawyer or a priest when he was younger. Stephanopoulos earned a political science degree, but while still a student, he served as a sports announcer for his university’s radio station. He went on to complete his education at the University of Oxford in England, earning a Master’s degree. Today, George Stephanopoulos serves as ABC News’ chief anchor and political correspondent. He is also the co-anchor of Good Morning America and the host of ABC’s This Week on Sunday mornings.
