Jack Goodsell opted to travel to Illinois to train with pitmaster Mike Mills of the legendary 17th Street Barbecue. Later, in 2010, he started his own business in Alaska using a mobile cart. His new venture soon garnered popularity and was chosen “Best BBQ” by the locals four years in a row. Goodsell focuses in classic Southern fare like hog, ribs, chicken, and brisket. The Seafood menu is also well-liked. He also added smoked fish to the smoked treats for an Arctic spin on a Southern barbeque.
