There is life outside of Hollywood, as Bern Nadette Stanis is living proof. She was a long-running TV character in the ‘Good Times’ of the 1970s. For the duration of the six seasons, Bern played Thelma. She was well-known for being the first teenage African-American girl to appear in a sitcom. Her performance made her well-known and prepared the young Bern for a life in the spotlight. She proceeded to star in a number of well-known TV shows after leaving the silver screens of the 1970s until she eventually departed the business. Bern, though, does not seem to remain idle for very long. The formerly famous actress wrote and released four well-received books. Therefore, Bern’s reunion with her former sitcom co-stars has us all giddy with anticipation!

Sophia, who was born in 1934, is one of the final Hollywood legends. This Oscar-winning actress built a name for herself and was able to make the most of her little moment in the spotlight by making it last a lifetime. Sophia recently played Madame Rosa in the television series “The Life Ahead,” and she has no plans to slow down any time soon.
