The American country singer/actor had released 16 studio albums and 53 singles since 1992 and is known for his number one single “Achy Breaky Heart,” which became the first single ever to achieve triple platinum status in Australia. It was also the best-selling single in the same country in 1992. His most successful album was the 9x multi-Platinum, Some Gave All. Though Billy was successful in his singing career, it didn’t stop him from trying and venture on acting. He played and appeared to numerous television shows. One of those was Hannah Montana, where he played the father of Hannah, portrayed by her real-life daughter, Miley Cyrus. Billy still acts and had recently seen on the 2017 VMA with his signature mullet.

His landing with Decca Records in 1996 paved its way to country music for Gary Allan. His debut album Used Heart for Sale was certified gold. His single Her Man paved the way for the artist. After the first album’s success, Gary released eight more albums, and 26 of his singles made it to the billboard charts. In 2015 he released a new single Hangover Tonight, served as the lead single for his tenth album entitled Hard Way. In 2016, the album’s second single “Do You Wish It Was Me?” was sent to country radio. The third single was titled “Mess Me Up,” released to country radio in May 2017.
