Hair dye was usually used to emphasize the importance of appearance for cosmetic purposes. And even though it could be bought for a low price at the dollar store, we would not recommend buying them there. The ones that could be bought in dollar stores would usually have harmful chemicals present. It would be better to understand the nature of the ingredients before placing them anywhere near the scalp.
