Setting Up A Date
Brook resolved to continue seeing Delores, her new friend. The young woman took the elderly lady’s contact details, setting up a standing lunch date. Brook wrote happily, “… we will be having lunch every Thursday from now on.” Unfortunately, it just wasn’t meant to be because fate had other plans. Something much bigger was in store for them and the kind gesture that Brook made became even more meaningful.
