Their Date Night
Angie had been dealing with a high-risk pregnancy and was staying at the hospital for weeks on end. She had to go through it mostly on her own as well. While her husband and sons visited her as much as possible, it was different. Gino and Angie tried to keep her spirits up. One thing they did was go on a “date night.” They ate dinner in her room! “This is our date night that we never get at home,” she said.

They had to create a birth plan before the triplets arrived. While the medical team did everything to see this through, the couple knew that the babies would likely have to remain at the neonatal intensive care unit thanks to their size. Angie and Gino made sure to check it out before she was due to give birth.
