Too Tall For The Military
The French Peace Time Army gave Andre a notice but he failed to enlist. Maybe the Army was not for Andre. No shoes might fit him, bed bunks might be too short for him, and trenches might be too small for him to hide. Fate did not put him to the Army but instead, had him focused and interested in wrestling. He worked his way to being a professional wrestler. He trained hard and worked as a mover then ten years later, 1963, made his WWE debut.
