The doctor’s observation of Broc’s condition noticed that he was taller than most people with Sotos Syndrome. This discovery made them even more concerned about his overall health. While at first, the doctors said that “Broc might not make it into his early adulthood”. And now, they were saying that sadly, he probably wouldn’t make it to age 15. Well, it’s all because his growth rate was just too much for any human body to sustain.

His abnormal growth can be fatal and difficult for the human heart. He was also suffering from an unusually strained spine, ADHD, intermittent explosive disorder, and some learning disabilities. On top of all that, his body can’t properly process a pain reliever because Broc was born with only one kidney. He is not taking his medication properly for him to make it better each day. Broc said, “I did something to stop the pain I’m experiencing. And it makes me feel very badly like there’s a needle stuck inside my body and it’s hard to deal with it.
