Because Broc doesn’t know how to manage his medications like Tylenol or Advil, his family fully supported him to make his way of life more comfortable. Broc’s family requested to made him a custom-made bed to make it suitable for his fast-growing figure. He also has a better, greater chair that cost his family around $1,000. Broc needs to sleep not less than 16 hours a day during growth spurts. Broc has a lack of energy to push his body for being awake because his figure is using all of its stock energy to continue growing.

A Humble Heart
Broc has been able to stay positive even though his daily life has been a struggle. His aunt Stacy Snyder said that “he takes on his condition day by day with a smile on his face.” His mother also added that “his heart is as big as his body, and overall he is a big softie.” Broc is an eternal optimist, and he comes to terms with the fact that his life may be shorter than most people do. Broc said, “I just wish the doctors could do something to help me ease my pain.”
