They interpreted Mark’s pointing at the men as an indication that he wished to speak. As a result, they barge into the home unannounced and want Mark’s privacy. Then Mark says to Mom,“You can go, mom. You too, dad. I’ll be fine.” and the parents walk away from their son while bowing their heads.

They watch in anticipation. Oscar leans a glass against the wall in an effort to listen in on some of the talks. He only hears the white noise of a device, which is unfortunate because the secret service agents seem to be ready for this. They obviously weren’t permitted to hear this, as was evident.
