Most rockets have since been disabled now that the threat of war is no longer around. This also the same reason they sealed or destroyed many nuclear shelters as early as the ‘80s. That was the time that US-USSR relations improved. This bomb shelter was built in 1961, around the same time as the Cuban Missile Crisis. That was the closest the Cold War ever came to becoming a full-fledged war!
