Gladys and Carla finally drove to 148 Jane Street. The two of them were skeptical about what they were going to find. After all, there did not seem to be any way that a person that age would be able to maintain a house properly on her own. They lowered their expectations to avoid getting disappointed.

As the day of the visit approached, the sisters started to get even more concerned. First of all, it might take them a lot of time and effort to fix it up if their suspicions were correct. When you work in the real estate industry, there is nothing worse than working on the home of a hoarder. There was a good chance that the house was full of junk and debris that Joyce collected in the past 70 years or so.
