However, there was one important thing that all potential buyers should have known. The person to win the auction would not get the furniture as well. Clearly, the pieces of furniture had a big role in the feel and design of the house, so we just hope that they read the fine print. Apparently, Joyce’s daughter hoped to keep the furniture as her inheritance. She grew up with them, so we daresay that no one else deserved them more than she did! Despite this catch, the house is still worth buying.

After Seven Decades
At the age of 24, Joyce moved into 148 Jane Street. After more than seven decades of living in the same place, it was time for her to live elsewhere. We are truly impressed that she managed to maintain the house on her own. This brick house might not look all that special from the outside, but she managed to turn it into a great thing with her interior design and decoration skills. While Joyce spent a lot of time in the master bedroom, it still seems immaculate. Somehow, it feels like no one has lived there before!
