Pastel Colors
According to Joyce, her preference when it comes to design would be tone on tone. She is also fond of matching designs and soft colors. It was clear that she was a fan of pastel blue, purple, pink, and aqua. Even though it is hard to use these colors, they suited the house perfectly. Her masterful skills made the place inviting and comfortable too. She placed a lot of attention to the tiniest details from the toilet seat covers to the photo frames. We would not believe that it was an old house if we didn’t know it already!

The Intricate Details
The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms that came with wallpapers and wall to wall carpeting popular during the post-war period. There were also gold touches, metallic wallpaper, floral sweeps, and baroque patterns. It is amazing that she made them work together! There are fireplaces installed to combat the winters in Toronto. The hardware and cupboards were also customized to tie everything together. If you ask us, this was practically a museum already! Joyce placed so much thought into it.
