Reba McEntire is one of a kind! She is a country singer that did not settle with the standard genre. She tried to discuss a lot of controversial topics through her songs and that amazed her fans. It was very brave for her to start doing that because unlike other country artists, Reba is fond of talking about controversial topics such as AIDS, mercy killing, illegal immigration, and the like. She released an album full of songs that discussed such controversial topics – the album had the title Read My Mind.

A Rough Patch
Just like any other celebrity, Reba McEntire experienced a lot of success, yet also a lot of downfalls. She experienced a rough patch when she released her 19th album that was supposed to celebrate her 20th year of being active in the music industry. Since it was supposed to be a tribute, her company made a decision to compile some songs from the past and put it all together again in the album.
