A New Phase
Reba McEntire made a vast and tough decision in the middle of 2008. She decided after achieving another accomplishment of holding the record of being the female artist to have the most number of songs that landed on the Top 10 in music charts. The decision was to transfer to another management company. She ended up terminating her contract with the company that was previously managing her and eventually signing a contract with Valory Music Group. She had nothing bad to say about MCA Nashville Records, she simply wanted a new environment.

It is already common for celebrities and artists to hear a lot of false rumors flying around about their lives. Reba was put into the same scenario when a rumor saying that she passed away as she fell off a cliff flew around America. The rumor claimed that she was filming a movie in Austria and tragically fell off a cliff. A concerned family member immediately contacted Reba and told her about the rumors. Reba was terrified to hear the false rumors, but she also found it very funny. She used her official Twitter account to let all of her supporters know that the rumors were not true.
