Ignoring Her
Alex was acutely aware of the numerous spectators occupying their seats, seemingly aware of her presence yet intentionally ignoring her. Their unwillingness to relinquish their coveted spots manifested through their deliberate obliviousness to the unfolding situation. It became increasingly apparent to Alex that she had no desire to join the ranks of these indifferent individuals, which fueled her determination to promptly approach the young lad.

He offered her a kind smile and extended his hand, a genuine gesture of generosity. Seeing her struggling to find a seat, he politely insisted, “Please, if you want a seat, have mine.” Initially hesitant, the old lady gracefully declined, refusing to be a burden. However, Alex persistently urged, his insistence filled with sincerity. Eventually, the old lady couldn’t resist his kindness any longer and graciously accepted. Yet, as fate would have it, by the time she agreed, someone had already claimed the seat that Alex selflessly offered, leaving him standing there with a smile on his face, unperturbed, knowing he had done his part to make someone’s day a little brighter.
