Sarah’s father was a soldier who had served in Iraq, and she grew up idolizing him and wishing she could follow in his footsteps. She spent her childhood hearing his stories and looking at his old images, and as a result, she grew up knowing that she wanted to follow in his footsteps.

Following her enlistment, Sarah endured the arduous process of basic training, which stretched both her physical and mental strength to their absolute limits. In spite of the difficulties, she couldn’t help but feel proud to be learning with other males and females who shared her enthusiasm for helping others.
