Since she had already accomplished so much and gotten so far in the course, the question now was whether or not this obstacle would be the one that caused her to fail. It was one of the last before the end of the route, and of course the 12-mile Foot March was one of the most challenging parts of the entire program. But this was one of the last before the end of the course.

Exactly how does one go about completing the march of 12 miles? To begin, all of the competitors are required to walk continuously for a distance of 12 miles while simultaneously holding their guns and carrying heavy equipment in backpacks strapped to their backs. In order for them to earn the badge, they need to complete the entire march in fewer than three hours.
