In 2015, Sarah made an effort to complete the march by taking part in a group that consisted of 239 other people who also attempted the feat. This particular event stood out and assisted her in becoming an internet sensation, despite the fact that the program was designed to provide participants with a range of common ones to choose from.

The last few miles of the march that she took part in were shot, and the videos were finally put up on the internet, where they attracted the attention of many people from different parts of the world. A fellow soldier, Captain Lloyd Mason, was the one who took the footage and disseminated it to the public.
