Tony and the repairman slid their heads and flashlights into the hole in the floor with caution. Tony was startled to hear a loud gasp. Tony’s mechanic grabbed his collar and yanked him back. As he yelled, “Stay out of there!” the man’s face had turned white. As two legs appeared, Tony peered in, holding his breath.

Six more crawled out. Spiders are a type of spider. They weren’t just any spiders, though; they were deadly funnel-weavers. They were swarming out of a massive nest beneath the hole. Tony and the repairman began stomping on whatever tried to escape and slammed the trapdoor shut, knowing they were capable of a nasty bite that could damage human flesh. Regrettably, this was only the start of their nightmare.
