Allen was employed by a San Diego-based business called Omega Family Global at that time. They were the ones who got her in contact with the couple. Through in-vitro fertilization, a male embryo was implanted in her uterus in April of 2016. She needed to consume progestogen and estrogen to prepare her womb for the implant. Allen followed all the doctor’s instructions before and after the IVF procedure to make sure that it was successful. Six weeks later, however, the doctor discovered something surprising.

The six-week scan revealed that Allen had conceived two babies inside her. Medical professionals informed her that although it was a rare chance, it still did occur. Allen was filled with relief when she found out that it was nothing dangerous and the couple was more than happy about the discovery.
