Iveco Light Multirole Vehicle

“Europe’s version of the Humvee” is a fitting moniker for the Iveco Light Multirole Vehicle. The modular design of the vehicle, an upgrade on the British Panther, allows for extensive personalization. The vehicle, for instance, may be armed with anything from remote-controlled heavy-duty machine guns to 40 mm automatic grenade launchers. As an added bonus, the Iveco LMV has “an engine and turbocharger and exhaust set up that minimizes thermal radiation,” making it less likely that you will be targeted by heat-seeking missiles.

LGS Fennek

Fennek, short for Leichter Gepanzerter Spähwagen (Light Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle), was developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann of Germany and the Dutch Defence Vehicle Systems companies. The “sneaky” nature of the vehicle inspired its namesake, the fennec fox. The Fenneck is equipped with a telescopic mast-mounted observation system, a high-resolution camera, and a “laser range finder” to accurately “light up” targets for an air strike hundreds of kilometers off the mark, making it ideal for recon missions.
