MPV-1 APC
As of 2010, BAE Systems of Britain has been providing India with MPV-1 APCs it had developed specifically for use in that country. Despite its low price, the Mine Protected Vehicle (MPV) provides excellent protection from landmines and ballistic threats. The vehicle’s primary defensive purpose means it has few weapon options, but the large number of soldiers (roughly 42) it can transport is a major selling point.
Arquus Scarabee Armored Vehicle
The Arquus Scarabee Armored Vehicle is a light armored vehicle introduced by Arquus, a company under Volvo, in 2019. This vehicle combines an electric motor and a diesel engine, allowing it to operate silently. It is ideal for stealth and reconnaissance missions, capable of long periods of silent watch even with all systems on.
