The Dixie Chicks was an American country music band that was composed of talented musicians, and the founding members were the sisters Emily Strayer, Martie Erwin Maguire, and the lead singer Natalie Maines. The band was formed in 1989 in Dallas, Texas. They started as an all-female country trio and started as a bluegrass group. However, their fame and popularity had grown so much to the point that they frequently sold-out stadium shows and even had international tours. They even nagged the spot of the highest-selling all-female band in the United States last 2015.
