Life-Changing Rodeo Performances

Just when she was already about to dedicate her entire life to teaching, she received an invitation to perform in the National Rodeo in Oklahoma City. Her task was to sing the National Anthem. I do not know if you believe in destiny, but it seemed like the next thing that would happen was because of destiny. Red Steagall, a well-known actor, and musician was in the same event. He witnessed how Reba performed and he was moved. He immediately approached the woman and made some proposals for establishing a music career. He helped Reba in any way he could. Months after that, he got Reba to sign a contract with Mercury Records. Red Steagall is also one of the people Reba is very grateful for – without him, she would be nowhere near the success she has today.
