That was why Smoochie’s owners were already worried about the puppies because their mother was still very distant. They already tested lots of strategies that would make Smoochie embrace motherhood, but every try failed. They did not know what to do anymore. The puppies’ health was already being affected by their mother’s behavior.

Miss Kitty and Smoochie’s stories were the exact opposite. Miss Kitty had always been prepared to be a mother, but she did not get the opportunity to be one because all of her children passed away. On the other hand, Smoochie had the chance to be a great mother to her children but was still very young and unprepared to embrace motherhood.
